One landmass, four economies that barely speak
Long Island is 118 miles long and holds about eight million people, which makes it the most populous island in the United States and more populous than 38 of the 50 states. Nobody experiences it that way. A business in Bay Ridge and a business in Orient are on the same landmass and share nothing else, including the phrase "Long Island", which the western end does not use about itself at all.
That is why this section is organised by town rather than as one page trying to be about everywhere. There are seventeen pages below, one for each town, city and borough, and they are written from different facts because they describe different markets. What a Southampton restaurant needs from a website in February has almost nothing in common with what a Flushing dental practice needs in any month.

Queens and Brooklyn are on Long Island by geography and nothing else. Between them they hold about two thirds of the island's people, and we build for them too.
Questions we get asked constantly
Why is there a page for every town? Is this one template repeated?
No, and there is a check in our build that refuses to publish if it becomes one. If any two of these pages share a full sentence, the site does not build. Each page is written from that town's own population, its own hamlet names, and its own business base.
Queens and Brooklyn are not Long Island.
Geographically they are, and roughly two thirds of the island's people live in them. Culturally you are right, and nobody in Bensonhurst would say otherwise. We include them because the businesses there are real customers, and we wrote those two pages to say plainly that the phrase does not belong to them.
My hamlet is not on this list. Do you cover it?
Almost certainly yes. We name several hundred villages, hamlets and neighbourhoods across these pages, and each one is listed on the page for the town it sits in rather than given a page of its own. Find your town below and yours will be on it.
Do you charge more to drive further?
No. There is no travel charge and no zone pricing. Most of the work happens over email and phone regardless of where you are, and we say on each town page whether we have actually built anything there yet.
