Then the eastern belt through Bayside, Whitestone, Douglaston, Forest Hills and Howard Beach behaves far more like Nassau: driveways, garages, family dental practices, contractors, and customers who drive to you and expect to park.
Nobody in this borough types the phrase Long Island web design. They type the neighbourhood, and a very large share of them are not typing in English. Roughly 160 languages are spoken across Queens, which makes it the most linguistically diverse place in the United States, and that fact lives in the search bar rather than in a tourism brochure. Is Queens actually on Long Island, or is that a stretch?
Geographically it is not a stretch at all. Queens County sits on the western end of the same land mass as Nassau and Suffolk, with Brooklyn beside it. Culturally the answer is no, and everybody involved knows it: a Bayside shop owner does not describe the business as a Long Island business, and a Massapequa contractor does not think of Flushing as home turf either. Both of them are wrong about the geography and right about the culture. We are not going to pretend otherwise to make a page rank.
Do you have an office in Queens?
No, and we are not going to invent one. Our office is at 205 E Main St in Huntington, which is about thirty five miles away and, depending on what the Long Island Expressway is doing, somewhere between fifty minutes and an unreasonable amount of time. Almost everything runs remotely anyway, from the intake questionnaire to revisions to the launch. If what you actually want is somebody who can walk to your counter, hire someone in the borough.
