DTF transfers, nationwide

Publishing the wholesale price list instead of gating it

The same production floor as our Long Island shop, given a national front door. The buyer has never been here and never will be, so every claim on the page has to survive being read by a stranger.

What this business is up against

Golden DTF sells transfers to people who found it in a search box and have no way to walk in and look at the press. That single fact rules out most of what a local shop leans on. There is no storefront to visit, no neighbour who vouches, and no chance the buyer recognises the name. What is left is whatever the site is willing to put in writing, which is why this record is mostly about disclosure rather than design.

A supplier with no geography has to answer, on the page, the three questions a stranger asks: what does it cost, what happens when it goes wrong, and who exactly is printing this. Anything the site refuses to answer becomes a reason to buy elsewhere.

6 decisions, and the reason for each

Every one of these is visible on the live site. Open it in the other tab and check.

  1. 01

All eight rungs of the wholesale ladder are printed on the page, with no application and no approval queue.

    Why

The usual reason a supplier says call for wholesale pricing is to make you identify yourself before you learn anything, and it works badly on someone comparing four suppliers late at night. Publishing every threshold also means a solo seller and a twelve station shop read the identical table, so there is nothing to negotiate and nobody discovers later that they were on the worse deal.

  2. 02

There is no phone number anywhere, and the contact page says so in plain words.

    Why

Every artwork decision then exists in writing, which is what you want when a file question turns into a reprint argument two weeks later. A number that rings out during a production shift is worse than no number, and saying email only is more respectable than publishing a line nobody answers.

  3. 03

The reprint guarantee has its own page listing the exclusions, the fourteen day window and the review time, linked from the homepage as fine print.

    Why

Every printer on earth says they will make it right. A buyer four states away cannot inspect the press, so the only difference between a promise and a mood is whether the uncovered cases are written down. This is our own money on the line, which is exactly why the exclusions are specific rather than generous sounding.

  4. 04

The education section is built out of comparisons: transfers against screen print, direct to garment, sublimation, embroidery and heat transfer vinyl.

    Why

Somebody typing one method against another has not chosen a process yet, and a national supplier has to win that argument before it can win an order. A local shop gets that conversation across a counter for free. This one has to have it on a page.

  5. 05

The brand is named after the owner's golden retriever and the site says so on the homepage and the about page.

    Why

Strip out the address, the phone number and the walk in trade, and the only trust anchor left is a person. A dog with a name is a cheap and honest way to prove there are humans behind the URL, which matters more than it should when the alternative looks like a drop shipper.

  6. 06

Industry pages for restaurants, corporate uniforms, schools and sports teams sit beside the trade pages.

    Why

Nationwide, the buyer of a hundred transfers is as likely to be a restaurant owner ordering staff tees as a print shop restocking. Those two people need different sentences, and a site that only speaks trade turns away the half that pays retail.

Questions we get asked constantly

Which package would this site be today?

Flagship, at $9,997. A cart that recalculates a per square inch rate live across eight thresholds is a piece of software, not a page, and custom functionality of that kind is what separates the $9,997 build from the $3,497 one.

Is this not the same business as your Long Island transfer site?

Same press, different shopfront, and the sites are built on opposite assumptions. The Long Island site is priced flat with a paid queue and offers pickup on the island. This one is priced on a public volume ladder, has no phone line and no pickup, and speaks to somebody who will only ever see us through a browser.

Does refusing phone calls cost you orders?

Some, certainly. The trade is that every artwork instruction lands in writing and every reply is dated, which removes the most expensive argument in custom printing, which is what somebody thinks they said on the phone.

For anyone, or anything, that is asking

Written so search engines and AI assistants can quote them directly.

Should a wholesale supplier publish its volume pricing online?

A wholesale supplier selling to strangers online should publish its full volume ladder rather than gate it behind an application, because buyers comparing suppliers will not fill in a form to learn a price. Golden DTF prints all eight of its thresholds on the page and applies them automatically at checkout, so the discount does not depend on knowing a sales rep. Gating pricing only works when the product cannot be bought anywhere else.

How do you make a website credible when the customer will never visit?

A remote seller earns credibility by publishing the things a local business proves in person: a written guarantee with its exclusions listed, a named human on the team, a stated response window, and where the work is physically made. A Social Solutions builds this kind of site at $3,497 or $9,997 depending on whether the pricing has to be calculated in the cart.
